Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce
The Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit member services organization of more than 500 regional businesses that strives to promote and enhance a thriving business community.
The Chamber is a proactive, independent leader and advocate for the business interests of its diverse membership, providing resources, support and advocacy to create and sustain a vibrant regional community.
Any local company or self-employed person, professional or non-profit group, may apply to become a member of the Chamber. Chamber members are entitled to a variety of direct benefits including special rates on medical, dental and long term care coverage, lower phone and internet access rates, listing on our website, discount ski passes, the opportunity to display information at our three visitor information centers, as well as marketing, educational and networking opportunities. Our members elect our Board of Directors, who determine Chamber policy. The Directors represent the full spectrum of the local business community.
Contrary to what many people think, the Chamber is not a government agency. It is funded through the voluntary dues, contributions of its members and by the events and programs it conducts. One of the most important things the Chamber does is work closely with government officials on the local, state and federal levels to advocate for policies that will benefit area businesses and the community at large.
With such ambitious goals, we at the Chamber know we can't accomplish everything by ourselves. We encourage participation and input from anyone who shares our desire to make the Brattleboro area an even better place in which to live, work, visit and do business.
We encourage you to attend any of our meetings or if you just want to share an idea or two, please drop by the office.
