- Full-time Business Advocate
The Brattleboro Chamber is a leader in the continuing effort to help local, state and federal governments realize that a strong business sector is the key to a strong economy and a healthy society. Our recent successes include the sales tax exemption for clothing and shoes, increased funding for travel and tourism promotion, and the approval of bonds issues to finance the expansion of our middle and high schools as well as a new transportation center. In addition to the lobbying efforts of our staff and Board of Directors, the Chamber offers members access to state policy makers through our regional economic roundtables.
