Community Asylum Seekers Project
The mission of the Community Asylum Seekers Project is to cultivate a supportive community for those seeking asylum in the U.S., while offering basic needs and accompanying them on their journey towards building a life in this country.
CASP supports asylum seekers by finding local host homes or rentals for individuals and families seeking asylum, offering support through food, shelter, and other daily needs as they resettle in our community. We assist and offer accompaniment to asylum seekers navigating the asylum claim process and making a home in a new country.
We also host educational events and workshops about migration, trauma, and racism in the context of U.S. history and involvement for our volunteers and community members.
